After years of suffering and fighting the system Nicki Hempwood thought her life had returned to normal. As normal as any girl who was a member of a wolf pack that once was thought to be extinct. Her father, who was thought to be dead, had found her and she had started dating the Police Chief who had rescued her.

Then the Police Chief needed Nicki's and the wolves help. A kidnapped girl and her parents were in danger from a criminal and his girlfriend who was seeking revenge.
