Little Red Riding Hood is a folktale in children’s literature classics, about a little girl who is taking a basket of food to her sick grandmother. On the way she meets the big bad wolf. . . and the trouble begins.
The first known written version of Little Red Riding Hood was in 1697, by Charles Perrault. Since then there have been many versions collected (the Grimm brothers) and published.
My e-book version is in simple rhyme for the beginning or elementary reader. Always a favorite, I hope you will enjoy this lovely old folktale that stresses the the point that children should
never talk to strangers.
