Seamus MacGregor is a biology student working on his master's degree. He is writing his thesis on the exotic species that have been introduced into the Everglades. His plan is to live in the deep swamp for five weeks to get his data but he falls ill on the first day and his plans are looking like they may never happen. Then just when he feels like he can go no longer a naked boy shows up at his camp and nurses him back to health.
The boy turns out to be a twenty year old named Tommy Lee Beaudreau, who lives in a house in the trees with his dog Pecker. Tommy lived with his grandparents but they both died, leaving him alone in the middle of the Everglades.
Seamus and Tommy Lee quickly become friends and when Seamus moves in with Tommy Lee in his house, their friendship turns to hot sex and then love. All the while their safety is threatened by the Mossy Monster, a giant alligator that killed his grandma and possibly his grandfather too.
Seamus thinks the gator is actually one of the exotics, a Nile crocodile and sets out to find out one way or the other.
This is a story of adventure and hot steamy love between two young men in a wild setting.
