Like a crashing tidal wave,
Wrecking pristine shores.

Harper's holiday haikus pretty well sum up her feelings about Christmas--at least ever since Patrick dumped her on Christmas Eve four years ago. But when Harper decides that she doesn't want to be a Scrooge for Christmas anymore, a flyer for a special dating service, Soul Mates for Scrooges, magically appears at her door.



Will she be able to break her holiday curse with help from a suspiciously elven-looking "relationship specialist" named Holly? When Harper meets three potential kindred spirits, will she give Patrick another chance, play it safe, or live dangerously? Tis the season for love, and Harper will do her best to open her heart and embrace the holidays, from creepy elf decorations to toppling gingerbread houses. Can this Scrooge rediscover the true meaning of Christmas?
