Gently and timidly, I took a seat on Santa’s lap, feeling my final cares and worries melt away like fresh snow, as he tenderly enveloped my scrawny body with his big warm arms, the soft red fleece of his clothing so soft against me, so comforting that I just wished this moment would last forever.
I felt my eyes close, as a powerful wave of relaxation and contentment flowed through me, all my limbs relaxing.
“So, baby boy, why don’t you tell Santa what you’d like for Christmas this year?â€
I didn’t even feel surprised when he called me by that name. Somehow, it just felt right.
But before I could even speak, I realized with a fresh pang of horror that my relaxation had turned into something else.
You see, in my excitement at visiting Santa, I had totally forgotten about my little bathroom problem.
But now it was totally back with a vengeance.
I strained and squirmed, biting on my lip and shifting my weight on his lap, hoping to keep it at bay. But it was no use.
“What is it? What’s the matter?†he asked softly.
