After finding himself inside the game of Minecraft, 10-year-old Casey must battle zombies, Creepers, skeletons and more in order to survive. There are other enemies he must face, too - enemies unlike any he has ever seen in the game before...

Casey has journeyed into the Nether and managed to rescue Mia. Together, they must work to try to find the other missing Shifters and return safely to the overworld.

But the evil Apokalips has other ideas. He's determined to punish Casey for his disobedience, but when Casey discovers he is more than just an average Shifter, he must make a decision - run and hide from Apokalips, or stand up to the bully in a battle that might just decide the fate of his new world.
