Satan On Trial

Satan On Trial challenges how we think about man’s relationship with the Devil, God’s relationship with the Devil and the what the author terms as “the moral hierarchy of good and evil”.

Satan On Trial uses the crime of 14 year old Trevor Motton who has murdered his parents and claims he was instructed to carry out the grisly crimes from the Devil. From there Satan On Trial examines Trevor’s accusation of demon possession, the ambiguities and pretenses of religious beliefs, delusion and the similarities of aggressive personality disorder, and the dynamics of other rhetoric and heresy mental illnesses as scapegoats---all to demonstrate how much of what is perceived as Good or Evil, right or wrong may be in the eye of the beholder.
