Description ▲
Private detective Felipe Morelos, working as a bodyguard for a young Mexican businessman, in low-risk Cabo San Lucas. The businessman, Juan, meets an innocent young woman named Paola by chance during a lunch, and they hit it off. A month later he comes back to see her again. The next night he disappears along with her – kidnapped. There are ransom demands, death threats, and ransom drops. Juan’s corporate security force tries to catch the kidnappers, but the money is paid out and lost and the kidnappers are gone, leaving only blood behind. Morelos thinks Juan and Paola are alive, though, and he keeps trying to find them. He eventually does, but it’s a more twisted plot than Morelos had imagined, and he discovers that in this case innocence is not absolute, but relative.
