One Lie Too Many

Strange things begin to happen when Kate Creighton’s retirement party for her husband Harry, coincides with the neighbors’ early return from their summer archeological dig in Egypt. Kate witnesses a heated discussion between the husband and a suspicious man getting into a black limo. She senses a peculiar change in her neighbors when they briefly attend the party, and confides her concern to her zany friend, Candace.
An argument, a suspicious letter, and a surprise confession confound, yet draw them in deeper. Ignoring Harry’s advice not to get involved, they take off for Las Vegas in search of answers, but innocently get caught in a web of lies.
