The Story of April Patterson is the first installment in the fictional Short Story Series ABDUCTED! Weird Tales of Alien Abductions by Jason Ray Williamson.
When April is abducted by Aliens in 2017 Utah, she is shown that one day her youngest son will be President of the United States. They want him to personally deliver a message to the world from them, in an attempt to prevent a futuristic nuclear war from occurring.
To set their plot into motion, the Aliens transport April back in time, and she awakes to find herself in a cornfield somewhere in 1977 Ohio.
The story is continued in Series Number 2.
