The Other Side (Thomas Skinner Book 1)

Thomas is a 13-year-old boy who doesn’t fit in. He doesn’t know why until he meets Cindy, the woman with the red hair and red eyes. She tells him he is a wizard and takes him off to the magical world. He begins to attend the School of Merlin, but doesn’t fit in there either. Even as a wizard, Tom is unique. He is the first wizard to be born to Wanderers (humans without magic). As Tom tries to adjust to this new world, he is plagued by recurring dreams of blood and murder. With the help of his few friends, he goes on an adventure to discover the meaning behind the dreams and his unusual origins.

What Tom doesn’t realise is that his life is in danger. A powerful group of wizards known as the Le Fay don’t want him around. They see Wanderers as an inferior race – one they should be ruling over. The son of a Wanderer being a wizard is a danger to their ideals and so, one way or another, they want him gone!
