TOYOTOMI Hideyoshi had been the leading powerful authority in Japan for 15 years during the last part of the 16th century. He ordered the Invasion of Korea in his late years. It ended in failure and he died disappointed. He gained more power than the Emperor (king) who traditionally sat on the throne. However, he had no good background.
