The future of 3 billion people depends on it and they know it because it’s their nearest future.
The entire world depends on the events which are going to happen in Asia in the nearest future (10-25 years).
The plot, industrial technologies mentioned in the scenario weren’t used or mentioned before though the progress leads to these variants anyway.
