Description

As the title implies, the definition of 'politics' in the U.S. has become associated with adjectives such as corrupt, immoral, unethical, dishonest, and shady. This is unfortunate, but the facts speak for themselves: The U.S.A. is quickly retreating from being a Republic created "by the people, for the people," and, instead, turning into a third-world country with no respect for law. Political Correctness has led to the loss of intelligence and rational thought, replacing them with stupidity and total lack of common sense. The book contains four stories in four different script formats. Three portray the social and political systems in the United States that have become dangerously uncontrollable and deviant. One, however, provides hope, as the writers of the Constitution sought to prevent such future abuses. THE GLADIATORS WORE BLUE is a re-write of my book of the same name, presented in the format of a film script. Set in the future with a series of flashbacks, extreme corruption within the government led to the world being engulfed in a devastating war that began in 2020. The story contains many interesting facts, such as: the selection of a figurehead President who follows orders, the true reason we attacked Iraq and Afghanistan, and the rigging of voting machines. The book connects the greed, corruption, immorality, and struggle for power in the United States with that which occurred in Ancient Rome 2000 years ago. ONE PAPER CLIP AND ONE ABANDONED SHIP explores the deterioration of humanity when society changes from being a democracy - into one based upon socialism and communism. In order to stress the importance of the message, the story, in the format of a one-act play, is written in verse. TOO WARM OR NOT TOO WARM, THAT IS THE OBSESSION is a story that tears apart the President's claim that "no challenge poses a greater threat...than climate change." The focus is on the financial implications of the 'agenda,' and the fact that the public's fear of catastrophic excessive warming has been deliberately created. The narrative is presented as a full-length play. And then we come to WE THE PEOPLE, a ten-minute play that is different from the other three. It is an upbeat short story that features a modern-day Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton, and James Madison brainstorming the wording to be used in the proposed First Amendment to the Constitution. These smart men knew their job; they were tasked with preventing future abuses of the system.
