Amanda and Sarah laid there in silence and soon Sarah was fast asleep. Amanda got out of bed and went to the bathroom when she came back and shut the bedroom door behind her she had climbed back into bed beside Sarah and held her tightly to her. Praying that everything was going to work out for the best and though she hadn’t meant to she had fallen asleep as well.
“What is going on in here!” Rose’s voice could be heard loud and clear from Amanda’s side of the bed.
The girls opened up their eyes and Amanda realized what she had done wrong, she had forgotten to lock the bedroom door back up when she came out of the bathroom.
“Mom, I can explain all of this. If you would just calm down and listen.” Sarah told her calmly, sitting up in bed and throwing the covers off of her and Amanda.
