ROCK STARS OF WINE AMERICA #3: FLXtra with KJR - This is a Love Story

This is the story of the new generation of underground rock star winemakers in the FLX (Finger Lakes) in Up State New York, and the story of my life during the nine months I immersed myself in their world to tell their story from the inside. There was never any doubt in my mind that gonzo journalism was the only way to do that, also because it fitted this subculture where trained winemakers mingle with the self-taught and outsiders dare to take on the long established. Unlike ROCK STARS OF WINE AMERICA #1 and #2 the cover of this third work in the series doesn't carry the Parental Advisory: Explicit Content sticker. However, this doesn't mean that this is a lighter version of the same. Instead, while there is rather little sexually explicit material the emotional intensity has been cranked up several notches. I suggest that if it was a movie it would certainly be PG. However, the most outrageous thing about it is the daring of the Rock Star Winemakers who are the heroines and heroes of the story!
