Florence Beatrice Emery Farr (1860 – 1917) Praemonstratrix and Chief Adept in Anglica of the Isis-Urania Temple of the Order of the Golden Dawn, wrote many articles on the spiritual and supernatural. She wrote this novella as part of the Collectanea Hermetica. It includes information on ancient Egyptian beliefs and connects them to concepts in Hermetic Qabalah and Gnosticism.
