Elder Abuse: The Insidious Scourge Affecting Our Elderly

Often, we hear about the scourge of child abuse, abuse against women, and even animal abuse. But, how often do we hear about the disgusting abuse of our older citizens. Not often enough and yet it's happening on an all too regular basis.

This insidious form of abuse is more often than not, perpetrated by loved ones and sometimes by carers of these elderly people.
