Gifted Education

Gifted education programs are supposed to be a safe haven for the highly intellectual student. Such programs are so common place that the majority of schools within the United States have developed them with teachers who are trained to teach this unique population. While the idea of offering these programs are wonderful they do have their problems. So where does the problem lie with teaching the gifted and what can we do to solve it?
