When sixteen-year-old Chris Bennington sets out with his friends to find a missing girl, he gets more than he bargained for. An alien mothership abducts him from his planet, and Chris finds himself fighting for survival when he is hunted down on an alien home world.

With only a pistol and his wits, Chris must befriend an alien companion and set off to find his way home. He becomes the centre of the media, thanks to a robot drone that was sent by American Intelligence. As the whole world watches, Chris is faced with deadly challenges that could broadcast his fate to his loved ones, or come home a hero.
