FARNESSE

The war is over. Farnesse has survived bullets, shells, and mage-fire in the trenches only to come out as the hero of the losing side. He reveled in battle, and he's not done fighting; now that he's been given as one half of a set of war prizes to the enemy's hero, he will do whatever it takes to protect his civilian counterpart.

LIO

A civilian who never thought he would leave his hopeless hometown until he volunteered to be one of the gifts to the victor, Lio is determined to face his fears and use his captivity to atone for making it through the war unscathed.

RALSTON

His country calls him a hero, but doesn't see much valor in killing people, or much worth celebrating in an ugly victory. All he wants to do is go home and forget. It's enough of a pain in the ass to get roped into attending the treaty negotiations before he gets two beautiful men dropped into his hands. It doesn't help that one is afraid of him and the other wants to either seduce him or punch him in the throat.

Now they all have to deal with falling for each other and working together to keep the fragile peace from blowing apart.
