This narrative poem is about a woman named Fox. Fox is stifled with untreated mental illnesses on her quest to find unconditional love. In order to mask the pain of heartbreak and insecurity, she turns to drugs and alcohol to cope.
Through every relationship, she is haunted by her symptoms of psychosis, hallucinations and mania. She finds comfort in being in romance relationships with abusers that ultimately lead her to multiply diagnoses.
In a manic state, she writes a letter to another woman who has suffered from the same horrible past in hopes to get advice on how to beat the evil spirit that haunts her thoughts.
