“Jamestown Tobacco Boy Dream of Freedom” is the fictional folk-like tale of an African slave named Sabra who arrived in colonial Virginia in 1619 aboard the "The White Lion"; a ship carrying a cargo of himself and twenty other Africans. In the unfolding of this poignant tale an enslaved Sabra, uses his power and wisdom to help Daniel, a young slave boy to navigate his way through a mystical journey in which Daniel comes to understand the true meaning of freedom.
