A Viral Outbreak called the O-Strain is mysteriously attacking the young women of Bearcreek Colorado. When nineteen-year-old June contracts the virus and curls up in pain, Dr. Knott panics and takes her to the only man who might be able to help them. Dr. Reid Rim runs a private medical facility in the Colorado mountains. The facility own by his friend is simply named, O. There, they find others determined to save those who have contracted the virus, by giving in to the demands of the symptoms while waiting for a cure.
