Into the Black: Book XXI - Refit and Repair

Against all odds, the threat of the Harvester, a monstrous creature that eats planets to produce more X'thari drones and vessels, has been ended, with the combined fleets of the Major Powers (and the Black Star Navy) emerging victorious! They not only destroyed the Harvester, but took out a great many of the X'thari's ships, likely crippling the insectoid menace for decades! Even more astoundingly, the people of Coldana live! Beaten, bloodied, and suffering horrific casualties, they are still alive.

But after the battle and the storm, it is time for ships and crews to return home, catch their breaths, and enjoy the accolades that come with their labors. As the common crewmen rest and relax, and the fleets refit themselves, the major powers take a moment to recoup their strength, and consider what the developments of Coldana mean for the future. For there is always a new threat on the horizon, waiting to be discovered.
