Calculus and Analytic Geometry

This is a first year college level text book, second edition. The exposition of the material is detailed, and there are many illustrative examples so that the student can easily read and learn from the text book. Definitions and theorems are carefully stated, and the theorems are proved with rigor in order to carefully lead the student to reason. So that the student will be able to apply the ideas presented, the author tries to maintain a reasonable balance between theory on the one hand and technique, drill and application on the other.
