Introduction to Transportation Engineering

A detailed introduction to the techniques of analysis and design in transportation engineering, this text is intended to be used as a one semester course. More topics than could be covered in that time are included, in order to give lecurers flexibility in their choice. The emphasis is on practicality, for the text includes many example problems, along with written, computer programming and spreadsheet exercises. The text aims to balance planning, design and operations, in terms of discourse.
