Focused on excavation, substructures, superstructures, paving, transportation equipment, and electrical work, the book is divided into two sections; one dealing with construction procedural matters and the other dealing with technical matters. Section 1 includes chapters on change orders, various forms of construction contracts, job safety issues, basic construction law and principles of surveying. Section 2 is devoted to technical aspect protocols for excavation, foundations, concrete work, steel structures, bridge inspection, electrical installations, elevators and transportation devices.
