Interactions Access: A Reading/Writing Book

Part of a three-book programme designed to help beginners on an ESL programme to develop functional language abilities. The components of the programme - grammar, reading and writing, and listening and speaking - share a common thematic and grammatical organization. In this volume, reading strategies such as skimming, scanning and finding meaning from context are covered, as well as the elements of good writing practice. Chapters start with highly controlled exercises which gradually develop into more open-ended tests.
