This book has been writeen as per the syllabus prescribed by the directorate general of employment and training for craftsmen training to be electricians. The work is in very simple language with illustrations explaining each theoretical concept. Isi standards have been referred to wherever necessary. At the end of each chapter a large number of achievement exercises are given to help the student test if the concepts have been understood.
