This book is for the DOS user who wants to be able to use the UNIX system without struggling and wasting time learning UNIX commands and utilities that are never used. It is not for the beginner, but for those already with some knowledge of the subject and aims to bridge the gap between the complete novice and the advanced high level user. The text is divided into three parts, each with a different aim and a different level of understanding and which follow logically and compliment one other. The author also provides expected responses/error messages which are very useful.
