Day Surgery Case Study (Health Facilities Note)

Health Facilities Note 07 deals with the design of day surgery units, and provides guidance by means of analyses and comments on 13 plans of such units. These are assessed against key criteria and the schedule of accommodation from Health Building Note 52 Volume 1 - "Accommodation for day care: Day surgery unit", which should be read alongside this HFN. The plans, analyses and comments will help local project teams promote discussion and develop their own design solutions.
