Nonlinear Optical Parametric Processes in Liquid and Gases (Optics and Photonics Series)

In Chapter 1 a general discussion of nonlinear optical processes is given. In Chapter 2 various third-order frequency mixing processes are described. In Chapter 3 the discussion is extended to higher-order interactions. The various competing processes and the effects which they can have on the frequency conversion interactions are discussed in Chapter 4. In Chapter 5 the class of nonlinear interactions that occur at the same frequency as the incident radiation is discussed. In Chapter 6 applications of various nonlinear optical interactions are treated.
