Pathways to College Mathematics

Pathways to College Mathematics provides a general survey of topics to prepare students for liberal arts math, quantitative reasoning, or introductory statistics. This course offers an alternate path through developmental math, giving students who are going on to a non-STEM college-level course a one-semester alternative to the traditional two-semester algebra course. With a prerequisite of basic math or prealgebra, it’s intended to accelerate non-STEM students through their developmental sequence, but can also prepare students for intermediate algebra if they intend to follow a STEM pathway.
