OPENframework is ICL's vision to develop fully integrated information systems. It is based on Open Systems and distributed, object oriented computing. OPENframework is a methodology to provide an information systems architecture, to plan information technology strategies and to effect multivendor integration throughout an enterprise. The OPENframework systems architecture is explained in this series of books, each one concentrating on one aspect in particular. Individually each book provides a study of the major technology trends and offers advice and guidance for decision making. Together, they provide a set of analysis tools for designing information systems. The volumes are colour coded for easy identification.
