Instructor's Manual to Accompany How to Write for the World of Work

We have developed this manual primarily for teachers who may be coming for the first time to a class in transactional writing. We begin by discussing course planning and class activities. Analyzing student needs, setting course objectives, designing transactional writing assignments, and planning class activities will help you decide what to do in the course and for whom. Next we offer a detailed syllabus based on the text and provide solutions to selected "Suggestions for Applying Your Knowledge."
