College Reading with the Active Critical Thinking Method: Book 1

Teaches fundamental and critical reading skills in the context of high-interest readings. For lower level developmental reading courses, Book 1 offers a six-step method for acquiring skills in both critical and study reading. This volume also introduces students to identifying points of view, arguments and supporting details, and then evaluating that support.
