A Short History of Christian Thought

This revised text introduces students to the historical roots of modern Christian doctrines and the links between them. Each chapter is devoted to a specific issue in Christian theology. This edition adds two new chapters on the Sacraments and church ministry. The epilogue has also been revised to deal with contemporary issues such as women's ordination and the relationship between Christianity and other religions.
