Course on Computer Concepts: (Based on the Latest NEILIT CCC Syllabus)

Course on Computer Concepts is designed as a course book to fulfil the beginner-level computer literacy course - CCC - offered by the NIELIT to candidates irrespective of their educational qualification. This book aims at imparting a basic level of IT literacy to computer novices and will help them learn the practical applications of the concepts.

The book first acquaints the readers with the basics of computers and operating systems. It then details the word processing and spreadsheet applications. Concepts of internet, World Wide Web (WWW) and web browsers are introduced. In the subsequent chapters, computer communication and collaboration via e-mails and messaging and applications of digital financial services are discussed.
