One of the more sought-after paperbacks in recent twentieth-century literature, this slim piece, no more than one chapter plus an introduction and a commentary by others, answers the question so many cult devotees of the Picnic at Hanging Rock book/movie phenomenon have continually asked: "but what happened then ?" Deleted from their respective renditions of Picnic at Hanging Rock by both the publisher and film director/producer Peter Weir because it was felt to convey a little too much information, the mysterious 18th chapter was kept unpublished for twenty years until John Taylor, who owned the rights to it following Lindsay's death, decided to release it in this edition.
