Arising from the work of a pastoral team in a hospice, this book is an invitation to reflect on what happens in our innermost being when we listen to another person in need. The lived experience of a hospice chaplain, dialogues with different parts of the self and an imaginative approach to the Bible are at the heart of the writing. Reflective Caring describes the art of 'soul reflection', which is a way of transformation. It is the process of paying attention, without judgement, to our inner reactions, which bubble up from the different selves within us.
