The first book for more than 75 years to update the current hand evaluation system, this is an important, and in some ways revolutionary, text. The point count system of hand evaluation was first proposed in 1914, but the honor count system was not seriously challenged until 1934 when Milton Work introduced the improved valuation system used today. The Banzai System evolved by David Jackson and Ron Klinger adds a further dimension to accurate hand evaluation by including the tens and is of crucial importance when assessing balanced hands.
