German Impressionist Landscape Painting: Liebermann-Corinth-Slevogt

This beautiful catalogue gathers a magnificent selection of the finest landscape works by Max Liebermann, Lovis Corinth, and Max Slevogt--Germany s three greatest Impressionist painters. Impressionism, considered a French style of painting, was greeted with hostility in Germany, where traditionalists opposed all foreign influence in the art of their nation state.
