📖 Description
A solid foundation of basic geometry skills is essential for early success in math. Children who have a solid understanding of shapes, size, patterns, and location concepts will be ready for the challenges of geometry as they advance to more complex topics. The activities in this workbook are designed to help your children catch up, keep up, and get ahead. Best of all, they’ll have lots of fun doing it! Some of the great features you’ll find inside are:  Hide and Seek Looking for circles around shapes of familiar objects in a picture is a fun way for children to gain confidence in identifying shapes.  Off the Wall By matching pictures to faded shapes where they used to hang on a wall, children reinforce their knowledge of shapes.  What Comes Next? Children determine the picture pattern to figure out what comes next—the cereal or the bowl ... or the cracker or the cheese.  Park Party There is a party at one of the picnic areas in the park. Children need to follow the directions to find the correct picnic area on the map.  Plus! Game Pieces The workbook includes shape pieces, pattern blocks, and tangram pieces for children to cut out and to make patterns and solve tangram puzzles.  Give your child’s confidence in math a boost with Kindergarten Shapes & Geometry Success.
