Primary Care: A Collaborative Practice (Primary Care: Collaborative Practice)

This collaborative effort is written by nurse practitioners, physicians, physician assistants, respiratory technicians, and nurses from throughout the country. After a new introductory unit concerning the business and practical aspects of nurse practitioner practice, "Primary Care" presents disorders alphabetically and covers a multitude of adult disorders and related issues, some of which are not found in other primary care textbooks, including "Population-based Care" and "West Nile Virus". Each disorder is discussed in a primary care perspective with the information and approach necessary for any primary care health professional to care for adult patients in a caring, cost-effective manner.
