My Struggle: Book 2: A Man in Love is a self confessed love story of the author and it describes events in his everyday life in the book 2, Karl Ove moves to Stockholm leaving behind his wife and leads a solitary life. He befriends another exiled Norwegian, Gier, a boxing fanatic and a Nietzschean intellectual. He also tracks down Linda whom he met at a writer's workshop a couple of years ago and was deeply fascinated by her. The story shows how Karl falls in love with his second wife and also includes his life's happenings, becoming a father, the unsuccessful attempts at a family vacation, the turbulence in family life, the emotional drain off at a kid's birthday party, the daily frustrations, rhythms and distractions that keep him away from penning his book.

My Struggle: Book 2: A Man in Love was published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux in 2014 and is available in paperback.
