This book presents a series of research articles on the static and dynamic properties of liquids. The review papers by leading experts in the field included in this volume make an invaluable contribution to our understanding. Recent results are reported in subjects such as generalized hydrodynamics, mode coupling theory, liquids at surfaces, extraction of effective potentials, and the glass transition. Papers dealing with computer simulation are most numerous, followed by those on supercooled liquids and the glass transition.
