Mathematics in Medicine and the Life Sciences (Texts in Applied Mathematics, Vol 10)

This work aims to introduce mathematical modelling in the life sciences and is intended for students of mathematics, the physical sciences and premedical students. The standard is that of basic calculus; the models used are realistic; and light is thrown not only on modelling as a technique but also on the subjects upon which the mathematical models are based.
