Terahertz Sensing and Measurement Systems

This text provides a treatment of sensing and measurement in the terahertz range between the limits of 30Ghz and 3Thz thus encompassing the millimetre and sub-millimetre portions of the spectrum. The text draws together in one volume descriptions of the measurement system and techniques that are currently in use or under development, which make use of terahertz radiation. The discussion covers both measurement systems which return a quantitative measurement of some physical parameter as well as sensing systems which have the sole purpose of detecting the presence of an object.
