The 4th edition of FIDIC's book, the "Conditions of Contract for Works of Civil Engineering Construction", was published in 1987 yet it has taken time for users to gain experience of the form in practice. This volume has been designed as an aid to anyone having to deal with FIDIC's conditions, featuring: the full text of Parts I and II, plain English explanation of each clause, a clause-by-clause commentary, over 90 suggested forms for use with the conditions and a comparison of the 3rd and 4th editions.
